I OWN A SHOP AND BUILD MOTORS ALL THE TIME. I HAVE BEEN BUILDING A CHEVY 400 FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS.

WHEN WE GOT ALL THE MOTOR PARTS BACK FROM THE MACHINE SHOP WE PUT THE WHOLE MOTOR TOGETHER,RIGHT OFF THE START WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ROD CAPS COMING LOOSE!!! WE CALLED AND THEY TOLD US TO LOCKE TIGHT THEM SO WE DID. I WAS DUE TO HAVE MY TRUCK ON A TRAILER HEADING TO SOUTH FLORIDA ON 3/22/18 BUT WHEN WE DID A TEST RUN ON MONDAY THE 03/19/18 A ROD CAP BROKE AND TRASHED THE MOTOR. HOLE IN THE CYCLINDER WALL !!

AND PUT A HOLE IN THE OIL PAN!!!! VERY MAD!!! AND TOLD THAT THERE IS NO WARRANTY!!!!

$500 FOR RODS GONE. AND OVER $6000 WASTED IN A MOTOR BLOCK
